C1 Founders Award

Laurette & Bob Bachman

"The Board has established the C1 Founder’s Award to honor Laurette and Bob for their 14 season commitment to the growth of Company One,” says Board President Victoria Marsh,  “They invested in our vision to change the face of Boston theatre when we were producing in a 40 seat theatre and have stayed with us as our audiences and influence have expanded.  Generous donors like Laurette and Bob who give consistent organizational support not only keep the lights on, they make them glow brighter every year."

Bob is an Executive Vice President at Fidelity Investments.  He serves on the board of the West Suburban YMCA in Newton and is actively involved in coaching both youth soccer and basketball.  Laurette was an IBM consultant to school districts throughout the U.S. Previously, she was a Teacher of the Deaf at New York School for the Deaf. The Bachmans live in Chestnut Hill with their two children, Emory and Sam. Laurette and Bob are honored to support the ongoing efforts of award-winning Company One and their dedicated artists.
